Funny, you criticized the codes of others as a professional, but I see that is far from being one.

to capture video you need a server side app like red5 or FMS(flash media server), this is a common task , the way it works is create a flash client and the streaming video from your cam should be sent to the server using a NetConnection then in the server the video stream is captured and encoded (using ffmpeg or something) then return the path of the video on the server to your flash client and use fscommand to launch the video using a videoPlayer .

Hehe thanks, but I already know that.
I'm looking for Recording. I'm a LUA-Programmer but I'm considering flash only for this certain camera issue.
Thanks for replying though.

Hey Jing1
I was wondering if you can interact with the camera.
I'm looking for a flash application that records video through a default camera, then passing the path to the video in an FSCommand parameter.
Do you think you are able to do that?
thanks,
Mina

Yes when it was originally coded it could display the artist and had a slider to show how far into the song it was etc.. but i did not want them in the final version, it was a collab between me and my friend and we both love our final results.
He was the coder ^^ and he has also informed me that we cant have autoplay in it :(

It would be nice if it could autoplay and show the name of the band and music. I see in the actions you have the fields for it, but there are no textboxes to display it.

Yes Webreake, thanks for pointing that out, I was thinking about it today, most authors do nto know wxactly how zip upload works, I will check it add some more info now ...

user webreake

nice and simple , really good.
as a suggestion for the ffiles admins, i think in the section "submit a flash file" needs more information in how the "zip of additional files" will be used in ffiles site some note like " the zip is uncompressed in the same directory of the swf keeping dir structures of the zip file" will be usefull.

Jing if you submit again please make sure the preview works, in this case you could have uploaded the sounds again.
