Is the a way to make the background where the image is trannsparent so that I can use a png file and not see the white background behind it? Thanks

to make my question also for other users. if i change the size of the picture and also stage size etc. i adjust all i could but its still not smooth.

how the settings are connected to each other so i can easy change the picture size and stage and the coverflow should run smooth???? i thing whoever wants to change this will be also curious about your answer.

i have pictures which are 465 px. the coverflow runs totally unsmooth. how to adjust the other settings for bigger size pictures?

i changed many things and try a lot but it seem this thing is just done for smal pictures. with bigger pictures the thing just runs crazy. why and whats the solution?

My problem is: My document flash size is 950 x 600 px. and i want that the itunes cover flow appears in a size of 861 x 453 px, in a determinated area from my stage.

I want to change the size of the cover flow, not changing the size of my stage.

when integral I the accents in the text(XML) the letter disappear.

when you are generating an xml from database. first check that the image path of the gallery.
I have also created the same thing with my .net code
its working fine.

When i generate an xml file from a MySQL database with PHP, the coverflow does not show the first image. Only the subtitle text appears. Do you know how to fix this ?

Hello easyshooter

Just use the image of that size which is defined in flash file.
It will much smoother than using large or small size of images than defined size.

You may tray this : this.swapDepths(Stage.width/2 - this._x);
Insteed of this : this.swapDepths(Stage.width - this._x);
It's something like that, I think... I'm not sure...

use your image with black background with 250px*250px
do not use png image. instead use black background.

I have sent you the file(flash player10).
Please check you mail(inbox/spam folder).
Open the file and paste it to desktop or C:/ drive.
now double click on this player.
After that go to file>> open>> browse>> select any swf file>> open.
Now close this player.

come to desktop
now right click on any .swf file>> open with>> choose program>> flash player10.0r2>> select check box option (Always use the selected program.........)near browse button at the bottom.

Now you have done.
After this time all swf file will automatically open with flash player 10

i think t no AS3.0 file available thr .
regarding your second problem.
this file is using flash player 10 to play.
when you play swf it will play in flash player9.
and wen u r playing with .fla via flash, its using flash player 10.

Hi again! o solved the problem in last post, just replace the "unknown" fon " " xD, now i have another problem, in flash when i test the movie it's all perfect ,then i export the movie, but when i try to run the .swf file the images just keep in loading, other problem whe in try it on the IE a get the alert:

To change the text, you have to edit XML file. Open the XML file and edit the text with your own text.
And for the images size, you have to open .fla file. After opening you can define the image size of your choice.
