The panning is ok, but when you are e.g. on the totally right edge of the image and you are going to the left, the arrow stands pointing to the right, which is the wrong direction. Also if you are in the middle of the image, the arrow stays pointed to the right and doesn't give the direction in which i am scrolling, eg from top to bottom in the middle. For the rest it seems ok :) Let me know if you got this arrow thing solved plz .
